Making on... Monday: Even more baby food

I'm finally getting faster at making baby food.  The peeling - mainly of pears and apples - still takes forever.  But I kind of know a little better about how long things are going to have to cook.  And how long to puree them.  And getting the little puree into the cubes - that's getting smoother too.  It was a big mess at first.  But I've got a technique now! 

Today I made a pumpkin/banana puree.  Well, it was a lot easier than some....  Open can of pumpkin - organic pumpkin, not pie filling :) -- then mash banana.  Then mash together.  It was a little more challenging than other stuff to get into the cubes.  It so wanted to stay on the spoon.  

The best part of this mix-up puree.  Baby LOVED it!  She was very excited to get something new, that wasn't green.  She seems to love orange!
